  Instead of Arguing/Debating or telling JWs that they aren't correct...

  why not put new information out there that they can accept and let them do what they want with it?

  why not even defend and reason on what could later be justified in there own minds?.

  that's what i've been doing with a lot of jws including hubby and it seems to have the greatest affect without them putting there defenses up.. for example, i said to hubby the other night regarding blood fractions: "i dare you to raise your hand and say: so, clearly, the symbol of life is much more important then life itself.

  I think being subtle is allot better than being confrontational. You can just plant little seeds and give them time to take root.

  I did visit some other churches, but I don’t think I could join one. Partly because of my ingrained JW bias. Also because of the old saying “fool me once, shame on me”

  Saw an ad on TV for the Bible Students last night...

  caught the very end of the commercial.

  they were giving away a brochure called "science and creation".. i wanted to figure out which group was specifically behind the ad, but failed to remember the toll free number in full.. i know for sure that it was 1-800-???-dawn.

  just curious to know who is advertising in my area..

  i know you all are tired of hearing about michael jackson but after seeing this video, i was reminded of the guilt that lingers after the leaving the jw religion.

  as i understand it, his primary reason for leaving was because latoya was df'd and he didn't like having to chose between religion and family.
